In the heart of Damietta Governorate, a place renowned for its rich tradition of furniture making, a young boy named Belal el Alfy grew up surrounded by the craftsmanship and artistry that would unknowingly shape his future. Though initially drawn to the world of architecture out of a sense of duty to his family’s wishes rather than personal passion, it was within the hallowed halls of Cairo University’s Faculty of Engineering that Arch. Belal discovered his true calling. This was not just a career choice but the beginning of a lifelong journey of passion, innovation, and excellence that would see him become one of the most respected architects of his generation.

Arch. Belal’s early exposure to the intricate world of furniture design in Damietta provided him with a unique perspective on space, form, and functionality. This background gave him a deep appreciation for detail and quality—values that would later become the cornerstone of his architectural philosophy. As a student at Cairo University from 1995 to 2000, Arch. Belal’s talent quickly became apparent. Even before earning his degree, he had already completed an impressive 51 projects. This early success ignited a fervent passion for architecture and design that would define his career for decades to come.
